Dollars for Oklahoma
Morning Mist 24X36
What you can't see from this photograph is that there is a relief image of a large tree on the left side of the painting.
I am doing a draw for this painting. Every $5 sent to me gets your name in the hat.
100 per cent of the proceeds will go to Oklahoma disaster relief. The draw will take place June 7th.
I will accept cash, cheques and paypal.
If you are sending me a cheque please let me know so that I can put your name in the hat.

Of Life
Of Life 23X22 Mixed Media on WC paper $400
This painting has a long history. It started in Oregon with the torn paper. Then after looking at it I decided to take it to ISS. Lots of changes. The final run was this weekend when I put some transparent washes on to tie it together with the 80/20 rule.
Cheers

Layers
Layers 7X11 Mono print
More of me playing. The diagonal going from the bottom to the left was me running over a large feather with a brayer. It didn't do what I thought it would but I rather like what it did do.

celebrate
Celebrate 5X7 Monotype on Watercolor Paper $20 plus postage
I am playing with the paint I have, mixing it up, running it through the press or simply running the brayer over it. Looking for what supplies I have and how I can do things differently.

Starts
Starts 7X5 Watercolor and Printers ink on WC paper
I am back for a while now. I think! I went down to Dakotas where Dawn was teaching a course using monotypes and pastel and anything else you wanted. Came back and did many, many starts.
Played and did a lot of what ifs. The funny thing was I didn't even take the class. I was so inspired by what I saw everyone else doing I thought I'd give it a whirl!
Happy long weekend!

Home again!
I seem to visit places that do not allow me to post to my blog. I do get some wonderful images which I will be using over the next year.
It was an incredible trip with the experience being shared with 80 other great artists and 4 masters. I personally think there were more than 4 masters but we paid to interact with these 4. If you want to look them up they are
Skip Lawrence
Catherine Liu Chang
Christopher Toph
Fran Larsen
The location was Taos, New Mexico which has an elevation of 7000 feet which in itself was a challenge.
It is an experience I am not likely to forget and will post about over the next while
