This was an internet challenge that I thought I would try. It's always good to stretch and do something out of the norm. I set this up on my tool box and canvas put a couple of lights on it and gave it a whirl. It was fun to do.

This painting is full of rich color and paint. The image is from Italy. I had thought of naming it sweet smell or some such. If you have any ideas for titles of paintings I would love to hear from you.

Summertime

I thought it would be fun to try and switch the color scheme into a fun landscape. I like the atmosphere and feel to it.

This is one of my larger pieces. I loved the spontanaety of how it came together. It is on a gallery wrapped canvas so it doesn't need to be framed.

Summerfield

I love the summerfields when the wind blows through the leaves and flowers. One big mass of gorgeous color.

We have a lot of herons in this area. They always seem to have their heads in the water fetching something.

This painting is rich in color and texture.

Whistler Sketch 2011

When we were at Whistler this last weekend I brought a new drawing tool to try out. It was fast and fluid and a lot of fun.
