Watercolour study for Mural painting

I did a few of these to prepare for the group mural that I am a part of.

Coast

Coast 48" X 48" Oil on Canvas

Paintings like this are very difficult to photograph. The saturation of colours in the deep and light areas are in conflict when I go to photograph the painting. The colours here are accurate in the deep area but washed out in the light area.

Flower Study

When we were out camping we sat and did some watercolor studies. This is one of them. They are fun to do. Bold, bright and cheerful

Summers Over

Summers over and what a summer it was. The good, the bad and the now healthy. Sometimes it all happens at once. The great part was the good far outweighed the bad.



I will start posting again with sketches, images of very large paintings and we'll see where we go from there.
