It Finally Stopped Raining

I called this one "It Finally stopped Raining" Wow. Here's how it went.

I learned that I need to look out for Dog Droppings as well as Canada Geese droppings. I also learned that it would be handy if I brought weights for my garbage bag, when it is windy AND I learned that if my dog is tied up on a long lead and I leave him alone for a few minutes he may wrap the line around my easel and knock the WHOLE THING OVER. It wouldn't be the first time for that to happen. The cool thing about that is the texture you get in your painting from the grass and bugs really does add to the effect.

It is always an adventure going out to paint. I love it.

Silver Creek

Silver Creek, Canvas on Panel, 14X11

The beauty of painting out of doors is that you get to see some beautiful places. I have always loved rocks and trees and to catch the spirit of the place is not easy.
