This is the painting from the challenge this week. I have NEVER painted a figure so it truly was a challenge. I have been receiving comments on Daily Paintworks. Maybe you will go there and add to the comments? If the comments are good! LOL.

Daisy Today

Daisy Today, Oil Painting 10"X8" $50 This painting can be found on my website under New Works for Sale I was introduced to a new website called Daily Paintworks. What they do is they post weekly challenges and some artists paint them daily. I have now posted 5 works there. This one is the latest. The challenge was to paint using 3 colors. No other colors. I used Cad Yellow Deep, Ultramarine Blue and Quin Violet.

Challenge

This is a painting that I did for the Daily Paintworks website. They have a number of challenges for artists to enter. This was a picture of a road in Germany. I have entered it on my website for $75. It is a 10X10X 1 1/2 oil on canvas. I have also entered two in the one color per stroke challenge.

I will post them later.

For those of you following my Japan challenge the painting was won by Rich Hartlen and we collectively raised $1,000. I have sent all proceeds to the Red Cross, Japan Relief.
