The tittle comes from the shadows the thick paint cast. It is a good representation of how much paint is on the board.
I think I am going to be moving on to Fall subjects and getting ready for a Studio tour Oct 16,17 and 18.
Gorgeous weather, busy life. Cant ask for more.
