With this piece I wanted to try using mat board that was glued onto the cradle board so that I would start with a white background. I also wanted to start with watercolor image on the mat board prior to putting my first layer of wax on the board. From there I added layers of india ink, wax, scratching, layers of cretacolor water soluble oil pens , lines and a few beads.
I think you can call this a true mixed media piece.
