I chose this picture of Marion to let you know that she passed away this morning.In the picture Marion is videoing taping reference material for us to paint and I am using
my camera. The smile image is perfect. Marion's positive upbeat love for life and painting
is like no other.
I will miss her dearly and at the same time be grateful for every minute we spent together.

Bente, I've been following your blog for a few months now, loving your bold use of color in your paintings. I wondered how your friend Marion was doing, as I read about her here. I am so sorry to hear about her passing. She must have been such a dear friend to you, and I am sorry for your loss. I do hope that seeing these images of her, and remembering your art trips together, will be a comfort to you in time.
